High fashion met high ideals at the Alex Boutique/Labels for Love fashion show at one of D.C.'s hottest nightspots, FLY Lounge. Sponsored by Peroni Beer, the event was a huge succcess! The new D.C. non-profit, Labels for Love (website @ http://www.labelsforlove.com ) is headed up by founder and chairwoman Mary Schmidt Amons, who harnesses Washington D.C.'s growing interest in fashion to raise funds for many different charities around the city.

The evening featured the breathtaking"Fashion Forward...and Replayed" styles of Alex Boutique, owned by Liberty Jones and Don Farineau. Also featured were the beautiful jewelry styles of Pooja K. Vira of Jaanu Jewelrly Designs, and makeup artistry by Crystal Maria. Beautiful runway models strutted to a fantastic house mix soundtrack provided by the talented and handsome DJ George K....FLY is known as a D.C. elite hotspot, and the crowd was definitely "A List." Verse Magazine and The Washington Post Express were in attendance to report on the evening's events for the Style pages, and Anastasia Kessler, Peroni's Ambassador to Washington D.C., was on hand to ensure that the Peroni Beer flowed, and no one was thirsty. The management and Staff of FLY lounge provided impeccable service, and the beautiful hostesses of FLY provided Prima Classe service to all in attendance.
